Follow the red lanterns through Stonegate to the Mansion House where you can celebrate Chinese New Year with an array of workshops supported by the Leeds Confucius Institute and artist Danny Ha. Includes traditional Chinese painting, calligraphy and a tea ceremony.

Make your own rainbow plaque

What could be described as York’s first lesbian wedding took place in Holy Trinity Church in 1834, when Anne Lister and Ann Walker solemnised their commitment to each other. The plan is to place the city’s first LGBT plaque at the church. Go along on Saturday to craft your own rainbow plaque as part of York LGBT History Month.
